Welcome to the first edition of a serious of articles I thought I would write leading up to and during this years EVE Fanfest in Iceland.

I have been lucky enough to have attended the previous two Fanfests, however this year is promising to be the biggest event CCP have staged, in part to celebrate 10 years of EVE-Online.

The other more important reason this is going to be a big event for me is that we have a bunch of hard core Aussies making to trek to Iceland, including some of the voices you may have heard on the EVE Down Under Show, including Dark Razer from Scrap Iron Flotilla, Bam Stoker from Intersun Freelance, and Chiimera from Razor Alliance.

The other reason I am excited about this years event is I have managed to secure a media pass for myself and Dark Razer which will give us some exclusive access to both CCP and some news and information not available to attendees. We hope to bring this news to you during the event and on air on the weeks after.

We will also be recording exclusive interviews with  key personnel from CCP and some of the other people within the EVE gaming community for the EVE Down Under Show on netGameRadio in the weeks after the event.

The plan for this blog it is provide a little of action from EVE Fanfest 2013, from an Aussie perspective, and hopefully a few pictures as well.
